“In as much as you have done it unto the least of these my brethren, you have done it unto me.” (Matthew 25:40)
The Social Concern committee provides an invaluable ministry within the broader community served by our parish family by responding to human needs with care and concern. Through our parish network of visitors, visits are made to seniors and shut-ins in their homes and nursing homes, and a special effort is made to visit members of our parish family who are grieving the death of a loved one. We also arrange transportation for people in local community care homes, so that they may attend a monthly special worship service. A social time of food and fun follows the June and December services. If you are interested in becoming involved in the ministry of compassion, please contact the Social Concern committee through the parish office.
